Image Editing

Science has encouraged photographers to make the fullest of the camera and record their special moments in life. From the conventional camera, people started using the digital camera and then the video camera. Cameras have now been incorporated in cell phones by all leading cell phone companies. This is because the people of this generation feel the need of cameras all the time so that they do not miss out on any remarkable moment.

Since photography has occupied such a major part of our lives, editing them has emerged as an option. Often we are not happy about the color contrast or lighting of the image. This is when we look forward to editing them to give them the perfect look. Editing images is not as difficult as it sounds.

People often like to edit their favorite pictures and share them with friends and family through photo blogging. Some treasure these edited pictures for future reference. There are easy ways of editing images. You can edit images with photo-editing softwares like Corel Draw and Photoshop. In case you do not want to cough up such a large amount of money on availing these expensive softwares, you can choose from the free software.

Picasa is one of the most popular fee softwares for editing images. The superior level of digital photo editing possible through Picasa is unmatched. You can edit the image and alter its lighting and contrasts. Picasa will manage your album and will give you the chance to share your pictures on the web.

You can easily edit the images using the crop image features in Picasa. The temperature of the image can be changed. The lower the temperature gets, the bluish is its effect. You can experiment with the different aspects of the editing features to see how your favorite picture looks. You can focus on the faces and highlight them. For having fun with image editing, you can get a free version of this software.

You have to learn some basic rules in order to handle the editing of images. When you are decreasing the size of the images, the resolution of the image is always tampered with. This can totally spoil an image. This problem can be fixed with image editing softwares like Adobe Photoshop. All you need is the Photoshop CS series in your computer for some advanced editing. This software is preferred by professionals and gives perfect images in no time.

You can opt for the Bicubic Sharper and Bicubic Smoother functions to be able to resize images without affecting their resolution or perspective. You can set one of these as your default programs for editing. You can change the default by selecting the Image Interpolation option in Preference.

Pixoh

It's got the same idea as PXN8, but Pixoh is NOT as good. PXN8 has quite a few more features, including red-eye, simple enhancements, and sepia. True, Pixoh has sharpness, hue, saturation and contrast, but that's about it.
